Aphanocapsa incerta (E. Lemmermann) G. Cronberg & J. Komárek 1994

First described by Lemmermann (1899: 132) as Polycystis incerta. It was much later renamed by Cronberg & Komárek (1994: 333). Differs from similar species by the yellowish-green colour.
Cell dimensions: Dia: 1-2 µm. Colony: up to 100 µm.
Common in the plankton of nutrient-rich waters.
