Euastrum neosinuosum O.V. Anissimova & M.D. Guiry 2021

First described by Lenormand ex Archer (1861: 729): this name is illegal according to the International Code of Nomenclature (ICN) so the current authors chose a new name.
Cell dimensions: L: 60-75 µm, B: 35-45 µm, Is: 8-15 µm; Th: 18-32 µm; L/B: 1.5-1.8.
West & West (1905: 21) describe it for Scotland as “General, but rare.” Found in slightly acidic habitats such as loch-margins, and boggy pools.
