Netrium curvatum (F.E. Fritsch) P.F.M. Coesel & K.J. Meesters 2023

First described and illustrated by Fritsch (1918: 541, fig. 20 B) as Netrium oblongum f. curvatum. It has recently been made a full species by Coesel & Meesters (2023: 24, pl. 6: 4). Apart from the obvious curve, it attenuates towards the apices.
Cell dimensions: L: 48-125 µm; B: 15-28 µm; L/B: 3-5.
A rare taxon found in moorland pools, abandoned peat-cutting and Sphagnum bogs.
