Staurastrum inconspicuum C.F.O. Nordstedt 1873
First described and illustrated by Nordstedt (1873: 26, pl. 1: 11). Usually found as a quadriradiate cell.
Cell dimensions: L: 12-25 µm; B: 12-25 µm; Is: 8-9 µm.
Fairly common in acidic moorland pools and bogs, also with Sphagnum.
