Neglectella solitaria (V.B. Wittrock) L. Stenclová & J. Kaštovský 2017
First described and illustrated by Wittrock (1879: 24, figs 1-5) as Oocystis solitaria. More recently it was moved to its current position by Stenclová & Kaštovský (2017: 1268).
Cell dimensions: L: 16.5-60 µm; B: 8-30 µm.
Regarded as common throughout the British Isles from acidic habitats.
