Tribonema viride A. Pascher 1925
First described and illustrated by Pascher (1925: 106, 87a). A mass-forming alga found in ditched and slow-running streams.
Cell dimensions: L. 15-55 µm; B. 6-15 µm.
Probably common in the Outer Hebrides.
