Euglena ehrenbergii G.A. Klebs 1883

First described and illustrated by Klebs (1883: 304, pl. 2: 1-3, 5).
Cell dimensions: L: 140-280 µm; B: 14-26 µm.
Rarely recorded, but probably overlooked. Found in the benthic layer of lochans and moorland pools.
