Feathered Wing Weed
Fine, filamentous, very delicate with opposite long and short branches which are regularly alternate. A red seaweed that can be found on the mid to lower shore in crevices and overhangs, but characteristically occurring as an epiphyte on the stipe of Forest Kelp Laminaria hyperborea. These can be observed on beaches after winter storms
